Overheard at the audiologist (do you see what I did there?)

hermaj reports: "While waiting in the waiting area of the audiologist this afternoon, Dad and I listened to the receptionist talking to a client very loudly on the phone. Apparently the lady had had several Christmas drinks, passed out and her dog had eaten her hearing aids! (I think they were still in her ears). The receptionist assured the lady that this was a common occurrence as dogs don't like the frequency given out by the aids? I wonder if cats do the same!!!"
