I found I had to take a break from a lot of history accounts and news towards the end of the year. People are so horrible to each other, and people in power have a lot of scope. Even reading about the Kent State massacre again recently showed that the divisions that it was both a result of and exacerbated haven’t always healed - and this was much more recent. Hell, even our own history still causes deep divides.

Also I wish you strength and healing. I miss your posts, but was hoping you were taking a break and coming back. Stay safe.
