They are jpeg, have no idea why they are coming out that way? Must be that I use Flash, because I do not know photoshop yet. *shrug* Do you have any suggestions? Yesterday a friend suggested I work in bitmap and only change over to jpeg at the final stage. I hate to think how obsessed I will become when I finally *do* know photoshop. In any case, I have turned into the mad icon maker from hell, really, you do not have to use them, I just like making them, but wanted you to see they were there.
Yeah, try avoiding JPG until you're ready to save the final version for the Web - also save a GIF version, and compare how they look. JPG is a "lossy" compression which sometimes looks fine and sometimes looks like a blurry TV signal. (You can also try turning up the quality of the JPG all the way - it won't add a whole lot of extra size to a icon-sized picture.) The main thing is to experiment and fiddle. Isn't it fun!?!?

I made these icons. They were unsolicited and you may very well not want them, just wanted to make sure you saw them at all.

(Dudette, what file format are you using? They look a little lossy to me.)
