Latest tsunami info - hotlines, travel info, charities.

Can't wrap my head around 120,000 dead. 2400 times the size of my family. Half the population of Babylon, bit less than half the population of Canberra. 0.12 MIPs (Millions of Innocent People). That number's only going to go up.

I was talking to Jon last night about doing a tiny fanzine - just four pages. Given some contribs, I could realistically produce such a thing and mail it out (or email it out) within the next two weeks. Would it be realistic to flog it as a tsunami relief fundraiser for, say, $AUD10 (about $8US or 4 pounds)? Who could write or draw something within the next week?

Do me an Eighth Doctor suitable for half an A4 page - or three spot cartoons, small drawings suitable for padding out columns of text, about 4 cm by 4 cm. I need them by next Friday. Doable?

Half A4 page eighth Doctor coming up! Did you want it smoothly shaded, simple light'n'dark contrast shading, toned in or just linework? Which would be the best for photocopying etc?

Also, how can I get a copy of the finished thingy?

As long as it's in ink and not pencil, it should be fine! I have a more accurate art sizing now - 8.5 cm wide by 6.5 cm high, or same width and twice that height. (The size isn't crucial but should give you an idea.) I will of course be mailing out contributors' copies!
