Watching bits of Mr Smith Goes to Washington in between working on the women in Who article for DWM. Everyone keeps calling the journalists "ambulance chaser" - I thought that was a rude term for lawyers! I wonder if and when it changed...

ETA: Jean Arthur's character, Saunders, contributes the wonderful epithet "Horse radish."
