It can also spontaneously materialise, as I've found - or it may just be the way dairy is processed in this country. I've recently found that if I mix, say, mayo with cheese on a burger, my stomach tends to let me know about it halfway through.
I cannot and will not eat processed packaged cheese-based dinners anymore - a few mouthfuls and that's it.
