Someone could make a few bucks by gathering up a bunch of ancient documentaries about CGI and computers generally, and releasing them on DVD. They'd be delightful.

The obscure film I crave the most is the experimental computer-animated short Metadata, which I watched pretty much every day for a year in the library during Year 5. The skool library had borrowed it, along with several other marvellous short films, from the NLA. To the best of my knowledge it's never been commercially released. It featured line drawings primitively morphed from one to another, to great effect.
