I've posted a shedload of depressing stuff in the last few days, so let's have a few laughs to keep ourselves human.

Go here and scroll down to the scribbly comic that starts, "Sigh..." This in itself is pretty hilarious, but it was the following comment by "Death talon" that got me. :-)

Trying to track down the one issue we had as kids, I found a whole gallery of 1970s Ghost Rider covers. Sometimes he fights the Orb, a baddie whose head is a giant eyeball. I'm dying to see the rest of his bad guy team - the Nose, the Ear, etc. Satan also makes quite a lot of appearances, apparently not rating his own title.

Christopher Eccleston appreciates his cross stitch.

first thought: please tell me i wasn't the only one whose brain automatically smooshed the two words 'cross stitch' into 'crotch'. (second thought: i'm sure he's not the only one...)

It's just you. Ya perv.

*goes back to watching Barrowman on YouTube flopping fetchingly back into a chair, about 1:38*

mmm, very nice...(and it takes one to know one). ;)

*goes back to watching the master being high on lemsips, about 5:55, and jeremy clarkson giving richard hammond a friendly boost from behind, about 2:03*

That prompted me to see if someone had put RH's water tank stunt up on YouTube - and they had!

He describes watching this on TV with his wife, turning to her sitting beside him, and seeing her in tears. Even though she knew he'd survived, obviously. It just makes my heart beat like a dancefloor.

omg, i just saw those this morning! and yeah, i agree...my reaction to his accident was basically, 'you have a wife and kids, and you did what???' *waits till his head's better to smack him upside of it*

btw, thanks to jonathan ross, i now have two new favorite quotes: this one about dubious theoretical sexual practices performed upon the top gear hosts (at about 4:16, although i'd have said 'anally pleasure' myself), and this one, recorded a mere twelve weeks after the crash, discussing hammond's lingering memory problems (at about 4:03):

ross: it's like that film memento; have you seen that film memento?
hammond: *shrugs* probably...

Thanks. Now I know what to do the next time I suffer from writer's block! :D
