Did the math for my Doctor Who survey, and I'm surprised and pleased that White and non-White characters in the new Who turn out to be just as likely to be killed off (about 2 in 5 chance for any guest character). Your feedback has been really helpful - thanks! More comments, suggestions, and corrections are always welcome!

Nice work. How do things change if you factor in gender? And what if you add in the author of the story? I'm curious because I've had people tell me that gay men are more likely to be misogynists. So maybe RTD is a secretly racist xenophobic woman-hating gay man, but this can only be proven through arcane statistical numerology. Ooo... Dan Brown has his next plot!

Or maybe they meant gay men are more likely to be massagenists. Either way, they were being hurtful in the first place and couldn't provide me with any supporting sources.

And I'm only being partially facetious; I am kind of curious, but I also know that adding in those two additional factors could send you spiraling into the type of territory that statisticians spend years training for and could also quickly overrun your entire household with graphs and pie charts...

mmm... pie....
