Rewrites on draft zero of Acc Dragon today, in the hopes of turning it into draft one. I'm watching a doco called "Game Over: Kasparov and the Machine" about the Deep Blue match. Cool documentary, worst DVD transfer I've ever seen. ETA: Bloody awful sound, too. And no subtitles! Why is one of the interviews delivered in a whisper, even though the interviewee is identified in the end credits?

ETA: Ungh. Almost made it to draft one - that is, no scenes with notes to [come back and write this bit]. Managed to add a proper ending too. Should finish tomorrow, no wuckas.

Speaking of chess champions "Former chess champion and Russian dissident Gary Kasparov recently launched an opposition parliament to protest the rule of Putin, where he was attacked by a flying penis." http://myriadissues.blogspot.com/2008/05/when-second-life-meets-kremlin-flying.html

omfg

It's all over YouTube - in one case, complete with "Ride of the Valkyries". Apparently Kasparov makes a remark about his opponents' arguments being "below the belt", while someone in the audience quips, "Finally, the political power shows its face!"

Kudos to the security guard who brings it down - that's quite a thump. :-)

yes, impressive thump, and you've got to wonder about the guys sitting around in a room planning this
1:What shall we do to disrupt this chess master? Protests? Poison? Radiation? Kidnap his little dog?
2:I know, let's have a flying penis!
