Watching the anime with Jon. He digs L. Result! L's voice turns out to be Alessandro Juliani. We fall off the sofa with amazement. Also, I heard my first desu in the wild in one of the bts interviews. Hooray!

The guy who does Light's voice does Nightcrawler in X-Men Evolution.

The Japanese voice for L is Kappei Yamaguchi, who's making his first-ever US convention appearance at my con in two weeks -- and he was the original voice of Ranma and InuYasha, among *many* other anime.

The company who produced the anime is Madhouse, who's also producing an opening animation for us, and the founder is a personal friend.

If you haven't seen it you ABSOLUTELY should watch PARANOIA AGENT.
