Great moments in mental health #31786

... having to explain to your shrink what "OM NOM NOM" means.

*thinks*

...how DOES one explain it?

[identity profile] kateorman.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 10:16 am (UTC)(link)
Using an illustrative Cookie Monster impression.

[identity profile] kateorman.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 10:14 am (UTC)(link)
... uh, I've forgotten. It is food of some kind, though.

Oh, I bookmarked the site from which I stole the pic:

... actually, that leaves us none the wiser.

Bwahahahaha! :D I thought it was difficult to explain Vampire rpg's, but that takes the cake*!

*ELS I WUD UV EATED IT

Wait, is that the original? I've seen that cat offered so many different things. I've never seen the second frame.

Actually, one of the frames is reversed -- the face markings are backwards.

Also, the delicious cake is clearly pastede on.

(Which doesn't necessarily mean that it's not the original; it's quite possible that every version of the photo features the cat being offered something that's pastede on.)

Hahahahahahahaahahhahahaha.

I laughed so hard I nearly cried.

*giggle* You'll have to introduce said shrink to "I Can Haz Cheezburger?", clearly.

They do say laughter is the best medicine... :)

[identity profile] judiang.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Should I ask how you came to explain that in the first place?

[identity profile] kateorman.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
He wanted to know if I was doing anything for my fortieth. I am: High Tea with the family. OM NOM NOM. :-)

Fantastic! I recently participated in a high tea surprise birthday party. Rhis is the reason I shave my beard - high tea (http://www.esthet.org/projects/photos/marksparty/). I made the scones.

*giggles uncontrollably for several seconds* Oh, dear. What a great mental image.

[identity profile] murasaki-1966.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
High tea. I need to do one of those.

Any case, I've turned your winged serpent icon into a cross stitch pattern. Now I have to work out what to do with it. Want a cushion?

[identity profile] kateorman.livejournal.com 2008-08-06 11:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Erm, wasn't I supposed to be making you a larger version of that?

You are, and I'd still like it (for another idea I have). I was just playing around with the crosstitch conversion programme I have, and thought your winged serpent would be a good subject. Which it is. I also did some other icons I liked, but they need more work. Don't panic about it.

I'd really like to stitch this, but it will be sometime after I finish all this stuff for Christmas. All the aunts want handmade stuff this year......

"I...see Ms. Orman. Now, would you kindly place both arms into this straight jacket?"

A picture is worth a thousand words, after all.

LOL! Now that's something it would have been worth being a fly on the wall for!

(hmmm...glad I don't have to parse *that* sentence...)
