As I work in the kitchen today I'm listening to an entertaining lecture about West Semitic goddess by the Rev. William J. Fulco, who turns out to be the scholar who reconstructed Aramaic for Passion of the Christ, and also worked on Constantine. Small world.

Ah, that explains the British-accented Aramaic that someone mentioned as being in Passion of the Christ. I thought it must have been something like that, but it's nice to have it confirmed!

Heh, still a mystery then! Unless their vocal coach was British... or British and American accents sound very similar in Aramaic! Heh.
