Hee! I have a collection of test discs, both vinyl and CD. The best one included a snippet of Darth Vader's march at 5 different recording levels (to show off the dynamic range of CD)... Including one track so quiet that you weren't supposed to be able to hear it at any sensible listening level. I wonder how many people blew up their speakers by cranking that one up to check it was really there, and failing to turn it down before the "and this is at the absolute upper limit" track. =:o>
