Wow, that turned out to be fascinating. And yes, Ave Maria never fails to move me.

Wow, what a great idea (and great music, too...)

What I'd like to know is how humanity would have turned out if the ring had been there - what would religion be like, for instance?

Wow! =:oO Thankyou.

(At first I was baffled. There's a funny cacheing problem between Firfox and Flash/YouTube whereby an embedded video link shows up as the first frame of one that I've played sometime before. On this occasion, it was weirder than usual: When I started playing the video, it actually *was* this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wVbCL2tups&feature=player_embedded) that played, and I thought "Huh? Kate teared up to *this* music?" =8o}

Opening your post in a separate tab has cured the problem. =:o} )

Two other friends have posted this. One of them now wants to live on a planet with a ring system; the other reckons that we all need to write to Obama to ask him to blow up the moon so that we can have one!

That was awesome! I'm so glad I could see it this time, the last time I saw this linked it crashed my PC all the time. I so want to see an alternate history of a ringed Earth now!
