Party Animals

This series is well worth having a look at to get an idea of Matt Smith. Here's his character, Danny, reduced to panicked paralysis by an office crush:

In particular it's interesting to watch Danny's face, which is constantly putting out information - that screencap barely does justice to those few seconds of deer-in-headlights terror - and Mr Smith's general "drunken baby giraffe" comportment. He's also one of those actors who can always find a way to put an interesting spin on on-the-nose line. The series is IMHO quite modestly written, but the scripts are lifted by the cast. (Raquel Cassidy is a blast as the boss, as she is in Moving Wallpaper.)

Also, an establishing shot:

London bus with Torchwood ad - 'starts in October'!

Hee hee.

...And he does a fair passable northern accent in it to boot. :) ♥

a baby bill nighy. that's it. that's what's been on the edge of my connective brain tissues. nighy when young....not that i believe he ever was of course. possibly also true of master smith.

omg! It's like how Richard Hammond is the larval form of David Tennant.
