I'm Having a Setback, so yesterday I was going to return Magnus Mills' novel Explorers of the New Century to the library unfinished. I'm glad I didn't: I would've missed the lightning bolt that hits on page 106. (If you haven't encountered the works of Mr Mills, see if you can get your hands on The Restraint of Beasts.)
