Did I already post this? It's the Greenpeace Canned Tuna Guide. Helping us all keep deeleeecious tunas from going extinct - now that's what I call enlightened self-interest!

ETA: The Harpist's Stela. Basically this ancient Egyptian musician set up a little monument showing him playing and singing for the sun god. I love this for lots of reasons - for a start it's not the king, or even a priest, doing the worshipping; plus it's like the little drummer boy, not offering material treasures but the gifts he's got. And it's as cute as heck. (Click on the little magnifying glass to see it in closeup.)

As you know, I'm having a year off politics, so obviously I can't post the following links just now:

Victim race still central to death penalty. This is the reason I oppose it. It doesn't matter whether some vile criminals deserve death, or whether executing them would reduce crime. Those would only be considerations if the penalty was applied fairly. We have tried to apply it fairly and have consistently failed, rendering it useless as a tool for justice.

Christians need to consider their votes carefully is a very thoughtful op-ed, contrasting with the more general tenor of debate. Much of what it says applies to anyone with strong spiritual and/or ethical convictions.

(Obviously I also won't be posting some links and notes on online communication and bullying later on when I have a mo.)
