Embarrassingly, the Snape Obsession started because I wanted to use Rickman's look for a character in one of my original novels! It seems to have taken on a life of its own - partly because I'm sitting at the computer a lot of the time, and this nonsense bubbles along in other windows while I'm doing something useful like banking or writing those ficlets, and OMG I have *got* to finish that last one today.
