WRT the marriage thing... I'm afraid it isn't really dead. It is, as the Miracle Max put it, just mostly dead. And mostly dead is a bit alive. I'm all but certain someone will reintroduce some variation of this bill, and keep reintroducing it until it gets passed, or the devil is playing ice hockey in hell, whichever comes first. Blargh.
