I pronounce it "Pawned," too, 'cause until recently, I thought that's what it was supposed to be: Either that someone had so bested you that they reduced you to the status of a chess pawn, or that they had taken you to a pawn shop and sold you...
I do actually pronounce it "owned" when I have time to think about it, but "pooned" is the pronunciation that pops into my head immediately on seeing it.
To tell you the truth I don't believe I've ever actually pronounced "pwned" in my life. It's one of those words that, for me anyway, exists only in its typed form.
A bit like "133t", although everybody knows that's pronounced "fred" "leet".
I chose "poned" on the poll though, because if for some reason I needed to speak the word, I'd probably say "poned". That's what first sprang to mind, and to me it best captures the intended meaning of "owned", while retaining the "p" to denote netspeak.
I've never had to actually pronounce OMGWTFBBQ!!!111! either. No clue what that would sound like.

(although sometimes I used "poned" in an ironic fashion.)

I have to think about saying 'owned' though coz of the spelling.
I like 'pawned' so much better though coz when you think about it, it kinda means the same thing, ie. being a pawn makes you somebody's bitch :p
