Teev

Enjoyed the second ep of Life on Mars. The not-at-all-slashy fight in the hospital room was the highlight. Hunt gives me Ripley flashbacks.

Mum loaned me Ready When You Are, Mr McGill, a film about a TV shoot, which is a Brit actor-spotting feast (about half the cast of Green Wing is in it, as well as "Shake me up, Judy" from Bleak House (was in Nice Town with Paul McGann), as well as amusing (but where's the shoot's security?).

I want to do some sort of animated database thing which produces a cloud of actor photos and lines coming off them to their various productions, to help with playing Six Degrees of Timelash. (Tamsin Grieg (or Tom Courtenay) -> Christopher Eccleston -> David Tennant -> Paul Darrow.)

philip davis. he was completelty brilliant as smallweed, yes (omg a dickensian dick-joke??) judy wasn't bad herself, actually, considering the poor girl had like one line in the whole thing. (btw, she was blythe's rl gf at the time. *cough*)

What a small, tangled world we inhabit. (She was good - had to do it all with sneers.)

Six degrees of Timelash? Like the Bacon Game?

I have come to the conclusion that all British actors can be traced back to David Tennant.

Tamsin Grieg's appearance in The Long Game is very convenient; she is a "hub".

I think the hospital room fight was one of the things that completely sold me on Life on Mars. Episode 1 is good and all, but that was brilliant.

Given that so much of British TV and film seems to be "me and my friends got together and made this thing" I've started to believe that six degrees is just too much -- maybe five?
