Ten second reviews

Children of a Lesser God, the movie: so sensuous.

About a Boy, the movie: crowbars in a painful Hollywood climax and thus guts the most interesting character. But surely Hugh Grant was born to play Will.

The Jerry Cornelius novels: starting to suspect that when you've read one, you've read 'em all.

Weasel Words: Don Watson's "Devil's dictionary" followup to Death Sentence is not as sharp or funny as the original, despite scattered gems.

Nutrisoy tempeh burgers: I have found them once more after missing them for years. Just delicious (if a little high in fat at 11 grams a pop).

It all pays off in The Condition of Muzak. After that, they're fun, but that was the height for me.

I can't argue "About a Boy." The book was such a great nod to the early 90s, and the movie just killed all that.

Speaking of the 90s, just finsihed "SLEEPY." Good stuff.
