Dawkins' view of Christianity doesn't even deserve to be called a straw man -- that would make it sound too substantial.
Does the man know nothing about the history of science? And is he really so fatuous as to think that atheism fills people with wonder and awe at the beauty of the universe and gives them a deep inner sense of self-worth, whereas belief in a creator God and a grand Design does nothing but make people indifferent to nature and discontent with their lives? Pfft.
