I had DMT once, back when I was a hippie, but it was chemically pure stuff, not ayahuasca. (It was sprayed onto weed for smoking.) No panic attacks, no throwing up, just pretty little visual special effects in 3-D, moving in time to some electronic music that was playing. Then the audio system failed, and, even though it was one I was completely unfamiliar with, and I only had some basic tools in my purse, somehow I wound up fixing it.
