Oh... kay. So they x-rayed the suitcase, saw something that was clearly an animal inside and asked her if she had a turkey, and when she denied it they did not make her open the suitcase to see what kind of animal (live or dead) she may have been smuggling?
Gotta love Canadian airport security. Two months after 9/11, a friend of mine got on a plane in Toronto with an exacto knife in her purse (she had meant to put it in her checked luggage with some other craft supplies) and didn't realise it until she got to her destination. Her purse had been x-rayed and nobody noticed what she had.
