Agreeing re the midwives - my midwifery care has been excellent through my pregnancy and birth, and especially through establishing breastfeeding. They are brilliant, and seem to be less gung-ho to leap in and start treatment for various things if they deem it unnecessary...
I was threatened with a D&C for retained products the other day by an SHO on the delivery ward, but a senior midwife said it just wasnt necessary, the whole situ wasn't as bad as the SHO painted it up to be, just overexertion...
