Enemy Cat approached at 3 am. Frank leapt onto the laundry basket for reconnaissance. Uncharacteristically empty, it immediately fell over under his immense weight, delivering him to the floor with a mighty crash. He then puffed up his comically tiny tail, something I have never seen before. If I puffed up one of my thumbs to make myself look bigger the effect would have been about the same. In any case one of these two phenomena was enough to terrify Enemy Cat into retreat.
