now we ded from party
Aug. 15th, 2004 03:15 pmJon and I attended my kid sister Amy's 21st birthday bash last night, where we "busted a move" as I believe you young people say. I amused myself with the thought that Frank and Tim had got my Kiss records out and were cutting the rug themselves at home. Little did I suspect that what they were actually doing was jimmying the bedroom door open, which promptly closed behind them, trapping them without food water or kitty litter for an unknown number of hours. I must inspect the corners for pee, but out of respect for Jon's post-frug nap I'll wait until later.
21st birthday parties have changed a bit since my youth. They never did play Nutbush City Limits or Love Shack. They did play an enormously fast remix of Superstition during which I think I broke something.
