And another thing about the WA Liberals, currently contesting the state election. They don't just want to annihilate rights for gays: they also plan to block unmarried couples from accessing the Family Court for property settlement issues - whether same-sex or de facto. (In the press release, the state Dems senator describes this as "relationship apartheid" - a phrase which I think deserves wider currency.)
