Shark Attack limps on. Our hero continues to confusingly combine terrible dialogue with decent acting. There's a hilarious confrontation where he'd outraged at being lied to because the Mad Scientist chix0r is not a marine biologist... she's really a palaeontologist! "You lied to me!"

Mad Scientist: It's like finding a Tyrannosaurus rex in your back yard!
Our Hero: You know, Cat, I don't see that as being a good thing.

I think there was a bit where the shark ate someone in a waterslide, but I was fast-forwarding.

It's hard to imagine how a story of intrigue, sabotage, poison, jealousy, and rebellion, called Planet of the Slave Girls, could be boring - but somehow, the first two regular episodes Buck Rogers managed it. I couldn't even watch to the end. Highlights included an unconvincing kung fu scene Jon dubbed "Kill Gil" and a planet named Vistula. The one redeeming feature was an unbelieveable funky piece of fight music, complete with wucka wucka guitar and flute.

Oh! And I meant to mention a superb performance by Buster Crabbe as a mad scientist type. I mean, top flight stuff, even in a small and daffy role.

ETA: Rats, that wasn't Crabbe. I missed his cameo which was somewhere in the large chunk I didn't watch.
