Crashed and burned at 12000 words. :-) But I'm continuing to gather material for Pepper, which is going to be more useful in the long wrong that just spooging out a lot of scribble. For the first time, it looks as though I have a version of this story I could tell. Maybe next year.

I'm not too well at the moment, so I may be comparatively quiet here for a bit.

More pain. Different tooth. Damned thing is cracked. Thank the Goddess in the Red Dress for my awesome dentist, who drove to his surgery to meet me at 9 pm on a Saturday night to fix it.
