The Low Fat Vegetarian Recipe Archive has been my favourite source of recipes for at least a decade. It's basically a searchable archive of postings to a mailing list, so some of the recipes are oddly formatted - sometimes not much more than a scribbled list of instructions. What's great about it is that these are real recipes which people are actually making, so they have a sensible straightforwardness that a lot of recipe collections lack. I basically taught myself to cook by making stuff from the archive, and I'm still downloading and trying new recipes, including a simple and tasty tomato sauce last week.
