fandom_counts. Depicting the imaginary sexual abuse of children by adults, for the reader or viewer's sexual pleasure, condones that abuse in real life. Given the context, joining the comm might be seen as tacitly sharing fandom's tolerance of those depictions.
ETA: It's not clear or fair for me to refer to "fandom's tolerance of those depictions" above as though fans were all of one mind. Many fans question or reject those depictions, as this very discussion shows.
