As you may know (or may have guessed), I've been going through a bit of a rough patch* of depression for the last few weeks. Some days after increasing the dose of Zoloft (from 100 mg to 125 mg daily), the paralysis quite suddenly packed its bags and left; I simply got out of bed and started doing housework. I just did.

I'm not quite 100% yet, but the change was dramatic. The side effects from my previous antidepressant, Aropax, are almost completely absent; I sure as hell don't miss the constant sleepiness. However, the Zoloft is making my tummy go weird, which I'm combatting with Metamucil. Hopefully this side effect will sort itself out of its own accord given a little time.

As always happens, I now face the opposite problem: I have enough energy to tackle the 10000000000000000 tasks which built up while I was incapable of functioning. Jon and I refer to this as opening the hall cupboard and everything falling out on you.

* Meiosis. You don't wanna know.
