Self-harm increasing among girls: "Teenage girls are more likely to be admitted to hospital for overdoses, slashed limbs or other forms of deliberate self-harm than for any other type of injury, including road accidents." The rate has gone up a third in eight years. Last year, 300 girls and 100 boys were admitted to hospital for self-harm injuries. Stressing out? Lesbian mothers gain legal rights. Or really, their kids do. Slowly we lurch into the 21st Century.
