The article gives almost no details about the victim and the accused other
than their gender identities, and suggests no link between their gender
identities and the alleged crime. In short, if these women were not
transgendered, you would not have published this story. This breaches the
Australian Press Council's Statement of Principles. Please adhere to
those principles by not gratuitously emphasising the gender of
individuals.
