Tin Head redux
Dec. 9th, 2010 09:27 amFinally caught up with Iron Man 2 last night. It was a mistake not to see this in the cinema - not because of the visuals, but because there were several moments designed to work with an audience ("That was easy.", "I got him!") and I happened to be alone but for a couple of couldn't-give-a-damn cats.
What a pleasure to see an action hero who isn't a mailbox head. I cannot tell all these short-haired, square-jawed young men apart - from my befuddled perspective, Lost and the new Prisoner star the same guy. RDJ is conveniently handbag-sized, closer to my own age, and looks more like a character actor than a leading man. Huzzah. Plus his resemblance to Frank the cat is always amusing.
(Jon, we should grab both flicks and watch them together back-to-back. Nick Fury is gold. :)
