Have been struggling for a couple of days with a bit in Chapter 9 where an exciting anecdote of battlefield bravery is told. Did the worldbuilding yesterday, but was still a bit stuck on the anecdote itself - rough outlines of the derring-do, but no meat. This morning I thought to myself, "Well, you should rummage through those myths you've been drawing on, there's bound to be something useable." At which point it struck me that this was exactly what I had already been doing. What I have sketched out is a remarkable match for part of The Epic of Aqhat. So now the way forward is clear. Thank you, subconscious mind, and maiden Anat. XD
