Nagareru etc

Just re-watched the first episode of the anime version of Death Note. Holy crap, Light is even more bugfuck crazy (much kudos to voice actor Brad Swaile). The differences from the manga are very interesting indeed, notably the additional stuff in the second killing, and the scene where we pretty much see the moment old' Raito turns the corner into bugfuckery. (Also lovely: on his first encounter with Ryuk, when he discovers that Shinigami really are real, he falls out of his chair. Get it?)

ETA: Also changed (and I even checked the subtitles on the Japanese sound) is the import of that horrific line about Light killing his own family, and I am not at all sorry!
