Strange Flesh Week 5

As predicted, a slow week, compounded by the stress and chaos of dealing with a real estate inspection (we rent). But although I haven't progressed much in word count, I have managed to solve several plot problems. Slow but steady etc.

A quite odd thing I am doing, which I'm pretty sure I've never tried before, is that rather than trying to complete chapters as I go, I'm making sure I know what goes where, and then ploughing on with the next part of the story. So chapters 2 through 5 are complete, and yet not actually written. If you see what I mean. I may pay for this technique later, but it's stopping me getting bogged down in detail - my perpetual pitfall.
