Mar. 16th, 2013
Bit hypomanic this week, probably due to disrupted sleep. (I've borrowed my own weight in books from the uni library.)
Anyway, having just been perusing a few blogses and things, I just wanted to remark that for someone in 2013 to insist that transwomen are men (and vice versa) requires such a vast and thumping ignorance of medicine, psychiatry, science, genetics, anthropology, sociology, and the last three or four decades of feminist and queer thought, that I can only attribute it to either the awful certainty of extreme youth or people doggedly sticking their fingers in their ears and going la-la-la-la-la-la.
Quite possibly an essay to follow. In the meantime, you young idiots, crack a book.
