A submission to the Senate Inquiry from a former Wilson Security guard on Nauru alleges staff spied on Senator Hanson-Young during her visit and that guards planned ahead to use unnecessary force against detainees (to "take cunts down", not to put too fine a point on it) even before the unrest in July 2013. Child moved in the dead of night: asylum seeker system questioned: "The five-month-old baby was born to Nepalese asylum seekers who are part of a group of eight secretly escorted from the Melbourne Immigration Transit Accommodation at 4.30am on Thursday... 20 officers entered the Melbourne immigration facility in a "military-style operation" to return the asylum seekers to the island."
