I've been reading a history of Kristallnacht, which includes the policies leading up to it, and what happened next. There are some disturbing parallels in the rhetoric, that's for sure.
(Also I sort of knew but was shocked again to realise just how late the gassing started. Before that they essentially killed people in sealed trucks, shot them, worked them to death, hanged them, denied them medical treatment... but it wasn't fast enough, so they found a new way. Scary.)
