Thank you for bringing this back to my head. We used to watch this, stoned and/or drunk, in the small wee hours. I used to love this show (for certain, strange, values of love).
F'r'example, the episode titles are all bible quotes that (as far as I could tell) had nothing to do with the story in question. We had to make up your own titles in order to talk about the show. Some of my "favourite" episodes, I only know as "Bucket O' Brains" and "The Mighty Quinn".
And the sheer *foog* of it all.
Like the alien who wanted to drill peoples brains out (for reasons known only to himself), and did this by pretending to be a barber.
