And if he already has kids by his wife the child starves? Doesn't sound like the best solution possible there.
I do hope the county-wide solution goes ahead, preferably with reciprocal agreements with neighbouring counties. Admittedly - given where I live and all (flume!) - I'm kind of more aware of fire as a spreading hazard than I am other things, but it does make sense to me.
