Help oppose Ohio's anti-choice Bill

A proposed law in Ohio would force women to get the father's consent before they can terminate a pregnancy. This could mean forced childbirth, including for victims of rape and incest, as well as delays which could endanger women's health and lives. (Read about the Bill here.)

Help fight the proposed law by taking one of the steps listed below, and by reposting this information to your blog.

If you are in Ohio or the US: Send the co-sponsors of this bill and any of your representatives, photocopied articles written by abuse and rape survivors. Or, you can tell them your own story, or that of a friend who is a survivor. You don't have to use names. Tell them how you feel about this bill, H.B. 287, and in particular the fact that women would be required to present a police report or a paternity test in order to prove their pregnancy is the result of rape or incest.
