More that we're on the wrong frickin' continent! It's hard for us to be called in for top-secret meetings in Cardiff. (With the cast changing so rapidly these days, the novelists get peeks at advance scripts etc, which have to be conducted in secure circumstances.)
Personally I'd love to introduce the production office to the concept of teleconferencing and remote access, but that's a tougher-than-normal sell. :-)

But what about...

Ah.
It just doesn't seem fair.
And I really wish the BBC would start publishing Past-Doctor Adventures again. Because then, it wouldn't matter what continent you're on.
OK, I know what "Nobody's Children" is and I'm really looking forward to it, but, and please excuse the question, what project is "Zygon"? The best I found, but probably without any connection to you two is "Zygon: Journal of Religion & Science" *grin*.
*dreams of a decent TW novel* *with much Owen* (yes I'm weired)
It's Bill Baggs' long-lost last video, a sequel to "Cyberon". I wrote it about 5-6 years ago, and he's finally finishing it. I await with bated breath my copy of the latest cut to see what he's done with it. :-)
Cool, sounds interesting. Thanks for the info. If really neccessary you could still flee to England and then offer your services to the new series *biggrin*
I really wish you guys could do more Big Finish. The Fearmonger was *so* good.
I had this thought about how the NA authors could maybe give Google Books permission to scan the out of print novels and make them available as PDFs for the benefit of mankind, but I don't know if that's actually desirable from an author's financial POV?
Alas, the Beeb would have to give their permission too, which seems unlikely. I live in the hope that we might be able to get some of the books reprinted on the Beeb's Web site.

Date: 2007-08-21 01:13 am (UTC)What about a Torchwood novel? Out of the three that have been published, one was a fun read, one was an okay book, and one was absolute dreck.
