Real estate inspection of our rented house tomorrow. Yesterday, the cleaners still hadn't shown up three hours after their appointment, so I invited them not to show up at all, and today we cleaned the place ourselves. In the past, this would've been way more than I could handle, physically or psychologically. I'm knackered now, but we saved ninety bucks, and the house is good to go. Looking around the place I keep thinking of that bit from Molesworth where he's scrubbed up, I think for Christmas: "gaze in miror at yore strange unatural beauty."

Hooray! I wish I had a medal to give you. Seriously. Just thinking about cleaning makes me tired.
