Currently wedged irretrievably between my frontal lobes:

Meatball make the money, see
Meatball get the honey, she

Meatwad make the money, see
Meatwad get the honey, she

IIRC I have seen this cartoon precisely twice.

Would it make you feel better or worse to know that your brain didn't remember the character's name completely? *g* Though Meatwad totally looks like a meatball.

That'd by Frylock, the sensible one; Master Shake is the asshat you just want *dead* by the end of the episode, and Meatwad is the little slow kid you kinda wish you could help except he's pretty gross.

Carl, the neighbor, is EXACTLY like a guy who used to live in my neighborhood growing up. Hell, he's like a LOT of folks in my neighborhood growing up.

It's mostly an idiotic mess of a show that's mostly only funny to the pot-smokers and drunks, but it has occasional moments of brilliance.

Sadly most of CN's homegrown stuff is like that -- though Sealab 2021 and Harvey Birdman are great, and Venture Brothers is bloody BRILLIANT.

Have I got you hooked on Avatar: The Last Airbender yet? If not, shame on me.

I don't know how much you trust Wikipedia, but this is its explanation: The Aqua Teens were originally created for an episode of Space Ghost Coast to Coast called "Baffler Meal" as the mascots for a fictional fast-food chain called Burger Trench. It featured a prototypical version of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force that resembled the future characters, but differed in appearance, personality, and voice except for Meatwad.

...The characters are loosely based on the similarly titled Hanna-Barbera show,
Teen Force.

...The title of the show is based on the characters originally portrayed in the
Space Ghost: Coast to Coast cartoon in the episode "Baffler Meal"... the remainder of the name "Teen Hunger Force" refers to the squad's mission to conquer hunger in teens (teenagers being the demographic to which they were marketed).

Frylock? I can kind of see it.
